JCEE continued to manage and implement the DAFI Scholarship Program for the 5th
consecutive year. A number of activities including community service and other volun-
tary and entertainment activities were organized for the DAFI students. DAFI is a project
that provides higher education opportunities for students, refugees and asylum seekers
in Jordan through the provision of scholarships to help them get college degrees. This
project is funded by the German government and is administered by the Office of the
High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) in Jordan in collaboration with JCEE.
Fifty students, from the Syrian community in the various areas of Jordan, were chosen
to join thisProject for the scholastic year 2014/2015.
